I like books. Who doesn't? LHS, my high school, does. How do I know why? They're making me read two books and write a double-journal entry (whatever that is) before I enter 9th grade honor's english. One of them is a book that everyone has to read; it's called The Alchemist. The second book is our choice off of a list of "approved books".

So my mom ordered the books off the internet while she was at work. I can't wait, because I gave my mom the Visa $50 gift card my aunt gave me for Confirmation to buy me the rest of the Black Sun Silver Moon manga! :iconimhappyplz: I wouldn't have to spend so much money but my 7th-soon-to-be-8th grade bud lost the second one. I love her like she's my protege, but the next time I see her, I'm robbing her blind.

Today's my first day of spring break and the last day for my brother's. Today he had to mow the lawn and he dragged me outside to see something disgusting. Disgusting, I assumed, was probably some squirrel or chipmunks my outside cat probably killed, so I prepared myself to see blood and guts. It was worse than a dead animal.

In our apple blossoms, there were nests. Of catipillers. Tens of hundreds of catipillers just squirming around. Naturally, Mike(my brother) and I screamed like the girls we are. He ran into the garage and got the bug killer spray can. Halfway through I'm like
"Hey, Mike, are you sure it's gonna kill them."
"Yeah, why?"
"The can says 'kills flying insects'. Catipillers don't fly."
"Oh." He just kept spraying them, which was probably a good idea anyway. Some of them fell to their deaths, too, which was kind of funny.

I also practiced poking my eyes today. On Friday, I had an eye exam to prepare me for contact lenses, but I was too nervous and was never able to put them in during the class, so the lady had to schedule a class for tomorrow. I felt like an idiot, especially since there was an eight-year-old next to me who could put them in just fine. My mom, who also wears contacts, keeps telling me not to worry about it, since it took her forever to get used to contacts too, but I'm so sure. She took me to get junk food to last me spring break so I'm good.

My dad's gone for two weeks for some class or another. Yay

Depressing

From Monday to Thursday, my class took the Terra Nova Standardized Test. That means four days of not seeing daylight, not being able to read at the end of 50-done-in-15 minute tests, and not being able to go to the bathroom until 12 on the nose. And today, we went to the Holocaust Museum. It made me guilty because I'm partially German. Plus my friend was frisked because of her metal belt. She looked happy.

After lunch near the Washington Momument, we only had two hours to explore D.C. before getting back on the bus next to the American History Museum. The first place my group went is the National Art Gallery. I was the tallest-therefore being able to walk the fastest-but everyone else walked EXTREMELY SLOW, and stopped constantly for pictures. We saw a couple of naked statues, and went to the American Museum to see the Ruby Slippers, Star-Spangled Banner, Seinfeld's puffy shirt, Kermit the Frog, and Oscar the Grouch.

But you know what made me sad? Yesterday my teacher told me the American museum had Fonzie's jacket. Guess what? IT WASN'T THERE. MY TEACHER LIED. *sniff* And I was looking forward to it too.

Oh, and on the way back, this girl kept giggling obnoxiously and kept bumping into me while I was trying to sleep. Isn't anyone considerate to their neighbors these days? Oh, well. At least I'm going to the mall tomorrow.

Oh and you know what was kinda funny? Outside the Holocaust Museum, there was a food stand that sold kosher stuff.

I Just Want You to Know

Haven't updated in a while, so I figured I would fill you in on what I've been doing recently.

Well, a couple of weeks ago I went to Italy with some of my classmates for a week to experience Italian life. It sucked. Not Italy(I luuuuuv Italia) the trip. Everyone was so unorganized, and the teachers kept dumping us in squares with NO shopping just so they could go Gucci shopping. One of the teachers spent a thousand euros worth of designer crap so she had to buy another suitcase. Stupid bitch.

I went to Church and I saw a couple of my friends there, including :iconjozu10:. Awesome
